May 27 to 30th....Milton, DE, 7th Annual Horseshoe Crab & Shore Bird Festival at Milton Family Chiropractics, 113 Union St. Opening reception Thursday 5/27 from 5-8pm. Show open Friday 28th from noon to 6pm, Saturday 29th from 10am until 6pm, and Sunday 30th noon to 3pm. See "The Art" page to view the three paintings entered: "Horseshoe Crabs," "God's Spirals," & "4 O'clock Shrimp Cocktail."
August -- EMCA Annual Regional Show, details TBA
June 27-- September 12.... "Art of the State of Pennsylvania 2010," 43rd Annual Juried Art Exhibition. The w/c painting "Demise of Farming" (see 'The Art' page) has been accepted. Exhibit is at the State Museum of PA, 300 North Street, Harrisburg, PA. For this show 150 works out of 2076 submissions were chosen !!!!
October 23rd to November 21st, "NEPA Regional Art 2010" ....pending juror's acceptance. Held at multiple sites in Scranton, PA. Details TBA.
NOVEMBER/DECEMBER...scheduled for a two person show with the artist's nephew Jeffery Meyer, photographer, at the Billsboro Winery. The Winery is located along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail 5 miles south of Geneva, NY. Details will be posted as the show opening approaches. (http://www.billsborowinery.com )
COMMISSION WORK:
The artist has done en plein air commission work for organizations such as PEC (Pennsylvania Environmental Council), corporations, and private individuals. She is very selective in the acceptance of commission commitments...but feel free to contact the Studio if you have a need.
